FEATURES:

THE LATEST IN THERMAL TECHNOLOGY

The Quantum HD50S is engineered with germanium glass, allowing for maximum thermal sensory sensitivity. Users have the ability to switch between “white hot” and “black hot,” making targets distinctly visible more than 500 yards away. At 30 frames per second, the HD50S offers a smooth, consistent image, capturing even the fastest-moving objects.

CONTROLS

The HD50S features 3 new operating modes and calibration modes, allowing users to customize the monocular to their surrounding environment. Equipped with staggered control buttons, the monocular is easily accessible to both right- and left-handed users, and is effortless to locate in pitch black darkness. It features a 10-second start up function to begin viewing quickly.

MOUNT

Including two tripod sockets, the monocular can be mounted on a tripod mount with a 1/4″ tripod socket. The HD50S also features a standard Weaver rail and tripod mounts, allowing users to attach external power supplies or recording devices.

DISPLAY

The device features advanced OLED display (640×480) and a high resolution microbolometer sensor (384×288). The longer-distance viewing is made possible by the 2x digital zoom, which increases the 2.8x magnification to 5.6x for a wider field-of-view, and high definition OLED display—the clearest display resolution available on the market.

BODY

Equipped with durable, glass-nylon composite and a weight of just over one pound, the HD50S is extremely lightweight and weather resistant, able to withstand the harsh environments of the outdoors.

Successfully penetrating through fog and smoke in day and nighttime operations, the Pulsar Quantum HD50S Thermal Imaging Monocular detects “white hot” and “black hot” heat signatures up to 1,365 yards away. The long-distance viewing is made possible by a 2x digital zoom, which increases the 2.8x magnification to 5.6x. Equipped with a thermal core resolution of 384×288 and 640×480 OLED display resolution, the device captures maximum thermal energy efficiently for a more detailed image. Its 30 hertz frame rate delivers crisp, consistent image of fast-moving objects. The numerous modes make it the ideal choice for a wide variety of applications including: search and rescue missions, reconnaissance, hunting, and covert law enforcement/military operations. It features 3 new operating modes and calibration modes, allowing users to customize the monocular to their surrounding environment. The 3 operating modes (City, Forest and Identification) deliver enhanced contrast, significantly improving rendering of hot object details. Users can choose from the automatic, manual or semi-automatic calibration modes, which calibrates the image in just 1 to 2 seconds. It includes a standard weaver rail and tripod mount, allowing for attachment of external power supplies, as well as video output to record each session.
